Not all of us know what a car warranty can guarantee us, but most of us are aware that we need it. Warranties are not that difficult to comprehend as it is bound with just simple concepts. The terms written on the policies may be familiar to people who have already purchased a new car.

When you buy a new car, you are automatically given a warranty and the span of the warranty depends on the car dealer. Most dealers give 1 year, while others cover a longer period. If the warranty expires, it means that your benefits also have reached the finish line, but you still have the option to avail of an extended warranty. If you want to get the same coverage, you will now have to invest on it. Think of the peace of mind that it can give you rather than the money that it may cost you.

An extended warranty is not just for new cars, it can also be availed by people who have used cars. Aside from car dealers and manufacturers, warranties are also being offered by other companies. Some of these have already established virtual offices over the Internet so that they can be easily reached by clients. Getting hold of an extended warranty online can be more advantageous as you will get to compare different companies in terms of their prices and their coverage. They are even actually cheaper than the warranties offered by car dealers.

There are several companies that offer various types of car warranty. They are distinct from each other and they all seem to be offering good deals, and these what makes it hard to settle for the best. In general, companies offer an extended warranty with a basic coverage, which usually comes when purchasing a new car. This type of coverage will give your car a total protection.

Extended warranties are avoided by a lot of people because they can be very costly. This is something that can be criticized about car dealers who just want to gain too much profit from it. However, these are just isolated cases and this shouldn’t stop you from buying an extended warranty for your car. In fact, there are many companies that offer them at a much cheaper rate. You can find these companies online and you may directly transact business with them without passing through car dealers.

Customizing cars has become very popular over the years, especially with car movies like the Fast and the Furious. There are more tuning shops and more products available if you’re looking to tune up your car. This article will help you understand what you should know if you’re thinking about tuning your engine to add more power to the car.

With all the options online these days, there are all sorts of kits that promise to add more power to your engine. The most basic addition would be a cone air filter, which can up to 15 extra horse power. This usually ranges from $50-$250.

Then there are turbo kits or compressors. If you’re really looking to add power, this is the way to go. A turbo kit can add a whopping 100-600 extra horse power. Unfortunately, there’s a hefty price tag and it will cost more than your basic air filters.

In a basic turbo kit, there will normally be an exhaust manifold included. It’s usually tailored for a specific car. A turbo kit consists of intercooler with pipes, an air filter, a blow off valve, oil lines, several hoses and gaskets.

If your car can’t handle the improvements, you man need to make some more changes. It’s common that your clutch will need to change from stock to a sports clutch. A sports clutch can absorb the torque in an easier manner. Other stock items that may need an upgrade are the head gasket, fuel injectors, pumps, sensors, fuel pressure regulators and more.

For an entire turbo kit, it can range anywhere from $4,000 – $8,000 depending on how much work you want to do. The engine tuning and installation can add on an additional cost as well.

The engine can be extremely expensive in the event there are any issues. The gearbox can also be pricey. By increasing the power in your engine, these parts may have issues if the installation isn’t done properly. Always use a reputable shop to do the tuning and they should always use a dynostand. To be really safe, you may want to change the engine internals as well.

Tuning your car is a fun, but expensive hobby. There are a ton of fun things to add to your car, so make sure you take your time to shop around!

For years I drove an old clunker of a car. My excuse was I could not afford a new one. I never was into cars much and always spent my money elsewhere.

I knew eventually I would get another vehicle, but kept procrastinating doing so. There were things about my car that were totally unsafe. The back wheels of my car were really slipping. The accelerator pedal would stick alot if I took my foot off the pedal very quickly. When your old car starts having problems, it is just not worth it to drive an unsafe car.

It is time to get a new car when:

1. your car starts having all sorts of mechanical problems.

2. you have a bigger family now and you need to say goodbye to your sportscar

3. your car is a gas hog.

If you you are short on cash,, you may want to think about buying a pre-owned car. I learned online that there are many good used cars available even if they have over 100,000 miles. Before buying them, make sure you have them checked by a mechanic you can trust and who happens to be experienced with the certain model.

Be real careful if you find yourself considering buying from a private party. It can sometimes result in a great deal, but once you pay for it, you own the car. If anything goes wrong with the car, it is your problem.. It is much smarter buying from a dealer who will give you some kind of warranty.

As far as buying a car at an auction, you sometimes can get a good deal. It is much better to leave this type of car buying to the professionals. There is really little time to inspect the car and you usually don’t even get to drive it. Cars are sold as-is.

Ah, the joys of purchasing a brand new car! The satisfied security. The pride of ownership. The flaunting of new-found buying power. The off-gassing of volatile organic compounds that we call “the new-car smell.” And of course, that sickening pit that forms in your stomach upon discovery of the very first scratch.

We’ve all experienced it. First, there’s disbelief as the sight of the gouge draws you in for an up close look. Next, assessing the damage, you run your fingers over it, trying in vain to rub it away. Then, your head lifts and whips to and fro with rage as you scan the parking lot for an obvious offender. Seeing no one to blame, your rage slowly subsides and is replaced by the nauseas realization that this is no one’s fault but your own. You drop to your knees, raise your hands heavenward and mutter to yourself, “If only I’d purchased that damn custom-fit car cover!”

Well my friend, redemption can be had, or at least bought. Take a quick scan around your local auto parts store where you’ll find a host of one-size-fits-all covers, the most expensive of which costs less than a c-note. A universal cover will certainly prevent most forms of parking lot, garage and environmental damage, but they’re ill-fitting, bunchy and not very flattering as far as your ride’s lines are concerned.

But, how about going one better and doing your new car right with a custom-fit car cover made specifically for your year, make and model vehicle. Available in a huge array of fabrics, styles and colors from just as many manufacturers, a custom cover delivers a tight fit that hugs the curves and contours of your prized ride. The best come from names like Coverking covers, Covercraft car cover corporation, and California car covers, etc. This style cover is best purchased over the internet, where you can shop for the best prices and find the exact pattern your car needs.

Prices for custom covers can vary wildly, ranging from around $150 for a lightweight model all the way up to $500 or more for a top-notch, all-weather cover that can withstand the harshest elements. And, whether you go with Coverking covers, Covercraft car covers, California car covers or one of the other top brands that are out there, a custom cover is going to cost way less than paying for an Earl Scheib schlub to do some Bondo-laden body work and lay down a new paint job. And, you’ll never experience the gut-wrenching self-doubt of asking yourself, “What could I have done to prevent this?”

In an economy where we are all looking to cut corners and save money it is very important that when we need transportation that we get it at a price that we can afford. If it is possible for us to get the same car paying at a much cheaper price it is wise to take that route.

Seized car auctions offer you just the route you need to have big savings on your next vehicle purchase. These auctions are run by the government are not set up like a dealership is set up or like a luxury auction is set up for that matter. The difference, the big difference, is the goal of the auctioneer at these auctions. With a desire to unload vehicles before new ones come in they are looking to sell at very low prices.

What kind of cars can I find at these repossessed auctions?

You can find cars of all kinds. There are luxury cars that normally are very expensive when you purchase that traditional buying spots. There are fast sports cars like Ford Mustangs, Chevy Camaro, Mitsubishi evolution to name just a few of the exciting fast cars at these auctions. And if you are looking for truck, there are plenty of these vehicles to choose from as well. Motorcycles, can also be found at these auctions.

The biggest advantage though is that cheap car prices that these auctions allow you to find. You will not be able to go to any other place and find prices for these vehicles like you will at a repossessed car auction.

So if you’re in need of a cheap car, don’t miss out on the incredible deals that are found at seized car auctions run by the government.
